Cisco Aironet 1560 Series Access Points

Cisco Systems developed an industrial high-performing outdoor access point series emphasising numerous new enhancements. The Aironet 1560 Series consists of three models that mainly differ in antenna position. The Aironet AP1562I has internal antennas, the Aironet AP1562E equipped with external antennas and the Aironet AP1562D has directional antennas. All three models are easy to install and configure.

The Outdoor Access Points of the Aironet 1560 Series can be used in every industrial sector. These dual radio devices (2.4 and 5 GHz) are perfect for business and service provider network users, who need the quickest and most efficient links possible for mobile indoor and outdoor devices. They support the latest Wi-Fi standard 802.11ac Wave 2 and provide up to 1.3-Gbps data rates with 3×3 MIMO (multiple input multiple output) wireless communication up to three spatial streams.

With the option to choose an access point with internal or external antennas Cisco‘s Aironet 1560 Series allows network users the flexibility to balance their requests with their need for simple deployment. These devices can be deployed as a customary access point or wireless mesh access point.

The Aironet 1560 Series are build on the solid foundation of Cisco wireless innovations, for example: Radio Resource Management (RRM) for administration fast transmitter channel and power control, Cisco ClientLink technology for beamforming and Cisco CleanAir technology.
