HONEYWELL 8670 Ring Scanner: Maximum Freedom of Movement

With the Honeywell 8670 ring scanner you have an excellent connection within 10 meters of the host device. Via Bluetooth, you can easily connect the device with all Bluetooth-enabled mobile computers, PCs or laptops (Apple iOS, Windows, Android). The connection works securely and simply with “Secure Simple Pairing” (SSP) and the EZ-Pairing application (Windows) of the Honeywell Dolphin Power Tools.

The new ring scanner from Honeywell consists of 2 parts: the scanner is worn on the finger, the Bluetooth module on the wrist. The elastomeric material guarantees a comfortable fit and complete freedom of movement. As the material is impermeable to moisture, it is easy to clean and therefore very hygienic. A target device provides a secure positioning aid during scanning and the successful scan is indicated by different perceptible feedback (acoustic signal, vibration, LED).

With the Area Imaging Engine and the Honeywell Adaptus6.0 application, you can achieve flawless and exceptionally clear scans even on poor quality or damaged barcodes. The scanner has excellent motion tolerance, so you can also read barcodes of moving objects from any direction (omnidirectional).

The Honeywell 8670 ring scanner is made for harsh environments, extreme temperatures and a stressful environment. It has an IP standard of 54, works well at temperatures from -20 °C to + 50 °C and electrostatic discharges do not detract from its performance. He also withstands drops on concrete and hits against metal well.
