HONEYWELL RPe SERIES: Compact Portable Label and Receipt Printers

The Honeywell RPe series comprises two mobile printers, the RP2e is designed for a maximum print width of 48 mm and the RP4e for a maximum print width of 104 mm. Both printer models are able to process multiple kinds of media allowing a broad spectrum of application fields. It is possible to print out receipts, labels and tags wherever required. Roll or fanfold material with a thickness of 0.05 mm to 0.16 mm can be processed. The printers are equipped with a sensor for gap or black mark media. There is also a version for linerless material available. Because of the simple drop-in media loading solution, a change between different media options is quickly and easily done. The light weight and ergonomic form factor of the RPe series’ label printers contribute to a convenient use.

Print speeds of up to 13 cm per second at 203 dpi ensure productive work processes. Exceptional media capacity and a high-performance battery prevent downtimes. The new Hi-drain Lithium-ion battery technology provides power for long working hours. With the hot-swap functionality, connectivity is maintained between 20 and 120 seconds, depending on wireless communications. If the printers of the RPe series are used in a vehicle permanently, there is a battery eliminator option available. The RP2e and RP4e mobile printers provide WiFi (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac), Bluetooth 4.0 + LE and NFC connectivity.

Multiple software tools allow uncomplicated management and use of the Honeywell RPe series’ portable printers. Analytics tools provide information about battery performance or printhead condition. Software development kits for Android, Microsoft, Apple and Java are included. The devices are compatible with all common thermal printer languages and protocols.

Because of their rugged construction, the mobile printers of the RPe series by Honeywell are ideal for all sorts of environments, indoors or outdoors. The RP2e and RP4e printers comply with protection class IP54 ensuring protection against the ingress of dust and water. They can withstand drops from a height of up to 2 m and can be operated within a temperature range from -20 °C to +55 °C. The printers are equipped with USB 2.0.

Honeywell provides a large range of accessories to ensure an optimal use for various applications: Mini/USB-Ethernet communications dongle, plug, cable for configuration; belt clip, heavy-duty velcro belt mount, shoulder strap, hand strap, environmental soft case; single mount with MFxT adapter, single mount with wall adapter plate kit, settlement room 5-mount including charger, single vehicle mount with RAM arm.
