Busy healthcare environments involve considerable demands of staff members. Therefore, Howard Medical focuses on the development of high-quality working aids in order to assist healthcare personnel in their daily work. The Hi-Core point-of-care mobile computer stations are available with standardized VESA mounts, either for tablets, LCDs or all-in-one PCs. It is possible to adjust the screens in height and to tilt, swivel and rotate the devices to exactly suit the person and task. There is also a cart for notebooks available with a clip to secure the device on the working surface.

Convenient push handles and smooth-running casters enable easy maneuvering of the Howard Medical Hi-Core mobile POCs through narrow hospital corridors. Two casters are equipped with locks to keep the cart in a secure position. The large working space (54 cm x 45 cm) is adjustable in height within a range of 30 cm. Gas-assist technology enables smooth and easy up and down movement. The carts can be equipped with a keyboard tray and mouse tray with wrist rest underneath the working top.

A large range of storage and accessory options ensures that the mobile work station is exactly equipped for specific working fields. Customizable drawer options on ball bearing slides provide storage space and can optionally be equipped with a key lock or an electronic keypad lock. A choice of baskets and containers for different purposes which can be attached to the cart are available as well as additional devices, such as barcode scanners or wireless antennas. Underneath the flip-up work top, power supplies and cable management equipment can be neatly arranged and stowed away. For more convenience, the carts of the Hi-Core series are equipped with a 2.4 m power cord and AC power distribution with 3 outlets for the connection of equipment.

The Hi-Core computer carts for healthcare environments are available as non-powered version or with lithium iron phosphate batteries. There are several options to choose from: 38 Ah lasting for up to 8.5 hours, 44 Ah for up to 10 hours, 51 Ah for up to 11.5 hours or 25 Ah hot swap batteries for 5.5 hours.

The cart software enables remote monitoring and configuration of the Hi-Core mobile work stations by Howard Medical. Access permissions can be managed, the movement of carts be tracked and it is possible to export data to 3rd party tools.
