ADS-TEC VMT9000 SERIES: Industry-standard Vehicle Terminals Made in Germany<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

For rugged environments, the vehicle terminals of the VMT9000 series by ADS-TEC offer dependable data communication and processing solutions.<\/strong> Because of their hard-wearing design, they are suitable to be installed into light-duty as well as heavy-duty vehicles.<\/strong> The die-cast aluminum housing and a robust display ensure the exceptional durability that is required for industrial settings. The mobile terminals of the VMT9000 series comply with protection class IP66 against the ingress of dust and water. Resistance against impacts and vibration is ensured by compliance with protection classes IK08 (front) and 5M3 (housing). Operating temperatures reach from -30 \u00b0C to +60 \u00b0C.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The robust industrial computers of the VMT9000 series by ADS-TEC are equipped with an economical<\/strong> 2.0 GHz Intel Atom x7-E3950 quad-core processor and provide 8 GB LPDDR4 RAM. Available memory options are 64 GB eMMC (standard) or 128 GB SSD (optional). It is possible to run Windows 10 IoT Enterprise, Linux or IGEL Linux operating systems. ADS-TEC provides the sophisticated BigLinX IIoT software platform as option. BigLinX is a scalable, modular software solution which can be tailored to individual business needs.<\/strong> It comprises, for example, a cloud service, a VPN tunnel option and smartcard-secured access control. It also contains tools for data monitoring as well as the remote control, management and maintenance of the mobile computers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Convenient operation is ensured with the sunlight-readable display<\/strong> that automatically adjusts to ambient light. Depending on the model, the vehicle-mounted terminals of the VMT9000 series are equipped with a resistive or capacitive touch screen<\/strong> that can be operated also with gloves. There are three display sizes available: 10\u201d, 12.1\u201d, 15\u201d, with XGA (1024 x 768 pixels) or WXGA (1280 x 800 pixels) resolution. The front is particularly break- and abrasion-resistant,<\/strong> ideal for industrial environments. Four programmable function keys are integrated in the front panel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The mobile vehicle terminals of the ADS-TEC VMT9000 series can be equipped with different wireless communications options.<\/strong> Available are: WLAN (802.11 a\/b\/g\/n\/ac) including external antenna connector, WWAN (GPRS, EDGE, HSPA+, LTE), Bluetooth (v4.1, v4.0 LE, v3.0+HS, v2.1+DER) for the connection of peripherals, GPS through an external antenna and RFID. Available interfaces are: 4 x USB 3.0, RS-232, RJ45, optional second RS-232 connector, optional CAN connector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The VMT9000 series\u2019 computer terminals are connected to the vehicle battery and switched on by ignition and disabled or shut down when the motor is turned off. The devices come with a wide-range power adapter<\/strong> (rated voltage 12 \u2013 48 VDCIN). Optionally, the mobile computers can be equipped with an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) to compensate a loss of power and ensure trouble-free operation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ADS-TEC VMT9000 series includes 4 versions:
