ZEBRA EC50\/EC55: Built for Business<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The mobile terminals EC50 and EC55 were developed for enterprise use. Because of their light weight and low profile,<\/strong> they easily fit in a pocket. However, their functionality goes far beyond smartphone capabilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The two terminals EC50 and EC55 by Zebra provide an advanced<\/strong> Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 octa-core processor. Choose between 3 GB RAM\/32 GB Flash and 4 GB RAM\/64 GB Flash memory capacity. A microSD card slot enables memory extension by up to 128 GB. The mobile computers run Android 10 and are upgradeable<\/strong> through Android 11.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zebra\u2019s Mobility DNA software suite provides tools for optimized data capture,<\/strong> enhanced security,<\/strong> extensive voice solutions, device diagnostics and power management. Mobility Extensions (Mx), as part of the Mobility DNA, improves Android performance and safety, turning it into an enterprise-level operating system. Google Mobile Services can be activated or deactivated with GMS restricted mode to control device privacy. The Mobility DNAs StageNow application enables fast and uncomplicated configuration and deployment<\/strong> of devices for enterprise use, irrespective of the number. The Zebra EC50 and EC55 also support advanced VoIP solutions,<\/strong> such as Workforce Connect PTT Express, PTT Pro or Workforce Connect Voice. A license can be obtained according to requirements, to use the mobile computers as walkie-talkies, hold group conferences or send secure instant messages. It is even possible to incorporate the mobile devices into the company\u2019s PBX system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Zebra EC50\/EC55 PDAs are equipped with a high-performance barcode reader.<\/strong> The Zebra SE4100 imager enables the capture of 1D, 2D and Digimarc codes in any condition. It is also possible to capture multiple codes simultaneously. Two scan buttons at either side of the devices ensure comfortable use. A virtual soft key can also be assigned to barcode reading. By means of the integrated barcode scanner, data capture is done much easier and faster. For scan-intensive applications, a gun grip is available as accessory. Additionally, the mobile computers come with a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MU-MIMO technology and Zebra\u2019s WorryFree WiFi ensure reliable wireless connectivity<\/strong> and enable incredibly fast<\/strong> access<\/strong> to required data. The mobile terminals EC50 and EC55 are also equipped with Bluetooth 5.0 class 2 for low energy connectivity with Bluetooth-enabled devices. By means of NFC, devices can be easily paired (tap-to-pair). The Zebra EC55 additionally comes with LTE and GPS, ideal for applications in the field. A large and bright<\/strong> 5-inch display provides HD-quality and ensures convenient operation of the Zebra EC50\/EC55 mobile computers. Brightness adjusts automatically to ambient light. Corning Gorilla Glass protects the capacitive multi-touch screen from scratches or other mechanical damage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The two handheld terminals EC50 and EC55 by Zebra are made for business environments<\/strong> and are particularly durable.<\/strong> They are resistant against drops from a height of 1.2 m, with a protective boot even from 1.5 m. The mobile devices can be used within a temperature range from -10 \u00b0C to +50 \u00b0C and they are sealed against the ingress of particles and water according to protection class IP67. Display and scanner window are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For long working hours, the mobile terminals EC50 and EC55 are equipped with a powerful standard battery, <\/strong>lasting for up to 10 hours per charge. If required, an extended battery<\/strong> can be used, providing runtimes of up to 13 hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
