Print engines for industrial applications:<\/strong> The TSC PEX-2000 series offers compact and robust devices that are suitable for 24-hour operation<\/strong> in industrial environments. The print engines are protected by a robust metal housing which can be mounted flexibly. You can choose the devices either with left-hand or right-hand label output. The peel-off angle is adjustable (between minus 18 and minus 3 degrees). The TSC PEX-2000 devices can cope with the high print volumes<\/strong> of industrial labeling systems. They work reliably and fast. The mean time between failures (MTBF) is specified by the manufacturer as up to 22,000 hours. The maintenance friendly design of the print engines allows easy access. Print media can be inserted quickly and easily. The optional patented ribbon saving function<\/strong> provides a cost-effective option for high print volumes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tailored solutions for automated label printing:<\/strong> Choose a print engine that suits your company\u2019s requirements. The TSC PEX-2000 units are available with a print width of 4 inches (104 mm) or 6 inches (168 mm). They print fonts, barcodes and matrix codes.<\/strong> A 3.5-inch color display with six buttons serves as user interface. The 4-inch PEX-2240 model achieves the highest print speed of up to 18 ips at a print resolution of 203 dpi. The 4-inch PEX-2640 print engine offers the highest possible print resolution of 600 dpi. The 4-inch models are able to precisely print particularly small labels<\/strong> with a length of as little as 5 mm. The 6-inch versions are available with a print resolution of 203 dpi and 300 dpi. An optional UHF RFID module<\/strong> enables RFID label printing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Integration into label applicators:<\/strong> The PEX-2000 print engines provide a PLC architecture for smooth integration into labeling systems. They are equipped with a 32-bit RISC high-performance processor<\/strong> and provide a memory capacity of 512 MB RAM and 512 MB flash storage. For additional storage, USB device memory (FAT32) or MicroSD cards can be used. Multiple interfaces facilitate integration: GPIO DB15F (optional DB25F) + Centronics, Ethernet, RS-232 and USB. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are available as options. TSC provides the Console software suite for deployment, monitoring and management of the printers. The devices are also compatible with SOTI Connect.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
