Choose models with the right printing method for your application. Labels printed using the thermal transfer method are particularly durable. Direct thermal printing is suitable for printouts that are used for short-term purposes. The print engines are able to process continuous labels as well as labels with gap or I-mark and with a <strong>maximum print width of 104&nbsp;mm<\/strong> (S84-EX) <strong>or 167.5&nbsp;mm<\/strong> (S86-EX). It is also possible to encode <strong>RFID tags and labels<\/strong> using an RFID module (thermal transfer models only). The printers verify the function of RFID tags before printing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A 2-colour display with white or orange backlighting enables <strong>standalone use<\/strong> of the print engines. Printer settings, fonts and firmware can be transferred using a storage medium such as an SD card or USB flash drive.
