Thanks to the Qualcomm Dragonwing™ Q-6690 processor, even demanding AI applications run smoothly and energy-efficiently. Up to 12 GB RAM, 256 GB flash storage and a Micro-SD slot supporting up to 2 TB ensure more than enough performance and storage for future requirements.
The brilliant 6-inch AMOLED display with 1500 nits ensures perfect readability — even in direct sunlight. Gorilla® Glass Victus provides reliable protection against shocks and scratches. Both models support the latest wireless standards such as Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6 and 5G Release 17, delivering ultra-fast data speeds, secure connectivity and maximum availability — including in private 5G networks.
When it comes to data capture, the TC501 and TC701 offer maximum flexibility: High-resolution 50-MP cameras enable sharp documentation and analysis images, optionally enhanced by an ultra-wide-angle camera. Multiple premium scan engines — including the long-range AC670 — capture barcodes quickly and accurately, even in challenging environments. UHF RFID is built in as standard, enabling more than 200 tags per second to be read at short range — ideal for inventory management and asset tracking. OCR tools, such as for license plates or VINs, complete the smart-data solution.
The devices also impress with ergonomics and runtime: Powerful PowerPrecision+ batteries deliver extended operating time and can be hot-swapped without downtime. Fast charging allows up to 70% charge in just 45 minutes — perfect for shift operations. AI-based noise suppression ensures crystal-clear voice communication even in noisy environments. Multi-layer security, including Android Strongbox, protects sensitive business data.
The key differences: The TC501 is the most rugged device in the TC5 series — ideal for demanding environments in retail, service or field operations. The TC701 is the most durable TC7 handheld ever built and withstands drops of up to 3.66 m — making it the perfect choice for harsh industrial areas, warehouses and transportation logistics. Both models are dust- and waterproof to IP65/IP68 and optimised for outdoor use.
