HANDHELD ALGIZ RT8: Outdoor Tablet
The ultra-rugged Algiz RT8 tablet computer by Handheld is ideal for challenging environments and outdoor applications. It is protected against the ingress of dust and water complying with protection class IP67. Waterproof ports and a touch screen with rain mode ensure operability under any weather condition. It can be used within a temperature range between -20 °C and +60 °C. The robust device is resistant against drops, shock and vibration in accordance with MIL-STD-810G and can also be used in vehicles. Field workers need not go without an efficient mobile computing solution.
Equipped with a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor, the Handheld Algiz RT8 enables effective mobile data processing. 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage can be extended by up to 128 GB with a MicroSD card. The Algiz RT8 runs Android 9 and provides Google Mobile Services. The included MaxGo MDM software suite offers an intelligent management solution. Multiple tools enable staging and remote management of one or multiple devices. It also provides a Kiosk mode to pre-define accessible applications as well as a Kiosk browser.
The Handheld Algiz RT8 tablet computer provides a brilliant 8-inch sunlight-readable display. Its 10-point multi-touch screen offers a convenient user interface made of highly durable Corning Gorilla Glass. The touch screen can be operated with gloves and is rain-enabled.
A mobile work place requires dependable wireless connectivity. The Algiz RT8 by Handheld is equipped with dual-band WiFi, LTE, GNSS (u-blox), Bluetooth and NFC, enabling reliable data access and transmission. Bluetooth allows a radio range of up to 150 m. The compact tablet comes with USB Type C OTG port and with GNSS antenna connector. The docking station accessory provides additional ports: HDMI, Ethernet and 2 x USB Type A.
With its powerful 8,200 mAh battery, the Handheld Algiz RT8 mobile computer is ready for long shifts. The battery is user-replaceable. The tablet comes with a 13-megapixel rear and a 5-megapixel front camera.
