HONEYWELL CW45: Robust Wearable Computer

Meeting challenges: Fast workflows and unpredictable changes in the supply chain present obstacles that modern companies cannot avoid dealing with. The Honeywell CW45 provides an excellent solution for various sectors, such as warehousing, logistics, retail, manufacturing, and delivery. With the compact wearable device, it is possible to accelerate processes by reducing the number of work steps. Workers have immediate access to all necessary information and data can also quickly be entered and transferred to the system. The CW45 is a good choice for voice-based workflows, for example to make order picking more efficient. Use the Honeywell CW45 to gain more flexibility, reduce the error rate and accelerate procedures.

Convenience: The CW45 touch computer is worn on the arm. Because of its light weight, it is comfortable to use. The multi-touch display is made of Gorilla Glass 5 and therefore highly robust. The CW45 can be operated with the finger or with a stylus and even with gloves. It can still be navigated if the screen gets wet.

Latest technology: The CW45 is equipped with a Qualcomm CPU and comes with Android 13. The new Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) standard ensures high data throughput and improved connectivity even in busy network environments. Honeywell’s software solutions, such as Mobility Edge and Operational Intelligence, provide a unified platform for the deployment and management of Android-based terminals. They also offer multiple options to optimize the operation of mobile devices and extend their life cycle.

Features for increased productivity: A 13-megapixel side-faced camera enables 1D and 2D barcode capture. However, many industries require a more sophisticated data collection solution. If the focus is on data acquisition, the CW45 mobile terminal can be combined with Honeywell’s 8675i wearable ring scanner. Paired via Bluetooth or cable, the two devices enable fast data collection and transfer. Honeywell also provides Smart Talk for convenient PTT and VoIP communication. The 8-megapixel front camera can be used for video calls.

Extended life cycle: The wearable computer CW45 is extremely sturdy, ideal for fast-paced workflows and rough environments. It withstands drops from a height of up to 1.8 m and is sealed against the ingress of particles and water in accordance with protection classes IP65 and IP67. The robust data terminal can be operated within a temperature range from -20 °C to +50 °C.

Smart battery: The smart battery has integrated diagnostics tools to ensure a long service life. Because of the hot-swap function, battery can be changed while the computer is running. A high-capacity battery (6800 mAh) is available as option.
