HONEYWELL SCANPAL EDA51K: Cost-effective Mobile Computing Solution for Businesses

The ScanPal’s 4-inch multi-touch display together with its 26-key numeric keypad provides a convenient user-interface. Touch screen functionality is widely used and most workers are familiar with the Android operating system so that they can handle the ScanPal EDA51K intuitively.
Its 1.8 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon octa-core processor comes with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB storage as standard. There is also a 4 GB/64 GB option available. It is possible to extend storage capacity with a MicroSD card by up to 128 GB (SDHC). The Honeywell ScanPal EDA51K runs Android 10 and provides Google Mobile Services (GMS). To ensure reliable wireless connectivity, the handheld terminal is equipped with WLAN, LTE, GPS, Bluetooth and NFC.
Modern workflows are based on barcode data. The Honeywell ScanPal EDA51K provides a standard-range imager with high scan performance, suitable for all common 1D and 2D barcode symbologies. It reads damaged or difficult-to-read barcodes. Two physical scan buttons on each side of the device enable convenient barcode capture for both left-handers and right-handers. At times, it may be necessary to take photos, e. g. of damaged goods, for documentation reasons. Therefore, the mobile computer ScanPal EDA51K comes with a 13-megapixel camera.
The versatile handheld ScanPal EDA51K by Honeywell was designed for high durability. In compliance with protection class IP65, the mobile computer is protected against the ingress of dust and water. The device can be operated within a temperature range from -10 °C to +50 °C. During a busy workday, it can happen that a device is dropped down. The ScanPal EDA51K withstands drops from a height of 1.5 m. Its powerful battery is user-replaceable and offers up to 12 hours runtime.
