Zebra WS50: All-in-One Android Wearable Computer

Both hands are required for most of the tasks involved. The compact wearable computer WS50 from Zebra offers the necessary freedom of movement. The 2-inch AMOLED color display can be operated with fingers or with gloves. Touch sensitivity is automatically adjusted. Even when the surface is wet, the screen remains navigable.

The WS50 integrates Zebra’s SE4770 imager, which offers superior data capture performance. It also allows you to quickly and reliably scan damaged or poorly printed barcodes. Superior motion tolerance allows barcodes to be captured even when the scanner or barcode is in motion. The trigger does not have to be pressed for each scan. An optionally integrated proximity sensor ensures that you can scan continuously.

The Zebra WS50 also convinces with high computing power. It is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 2.0 GHz quad-core processor and offers 1 GB RAM and 8 GB Flash. The Android 11 operating system is user-friendly and the Android user interface is already familiar to most. The mobile computer WS50 from Zebra also comes with a powerful battery. The standard wrist model has a capacity of 800 mAh, the models with an integrated scanner even have 1,300 mAh. Thanks to the hot-swap function, the battery can also be changed while the computer is running.

To ensure a long service life, storage and production environments require robust equipment. The Zebra WS50 survives falls from a height of 1.2 m and is resistant to rollovers and vibration. It is sealed against the ingress of dust and water according to protection class IP65.
