FORSIS PROFI S 1700 SXGA: The Choice is Yours!

The Profi S 1700 from the company Forsis has an analogue resistive 17″ touchscreen and is pleasant to use. Computers have to withstand a lot in the industrial environment. The Profi S by Forsis is therefore very sturdy. The housing is made of steel, galvanized on the inside, powder-coated on the outside. The computer has an IP standard of 65 on the front and 52 on the connection side.

The IPC Profi S 1700 is available with different processors: ATOM D525 dual-core 1.8 GHz, Intel Celeron 1047 UE dual-core 1.4 GHz, Intel Core i3 3217UE or Intel Core i7 3555LE. All CPUs have 4GB of RAM and 128GB of SSD. Different operating systems make the industrial computers particularly adaptable: Windows Embedded 7 or 8, Windows 7 or 8. For some models (Profi S 1700 SXGA A2C, Profi S 1700 SXGA i-C) an IGEL operating system (Linux) is also available.

Various interface options allow uncomplicated integration into your systems. Optionally, the industrial computers Profi S can be extended with some additional features, such as sound, RFID reader, WLAN, Bluetooth, UMTS/LTE.
