HONEYWELL PM45/PM45c: First-class Industrial Printers with WWAN Connectivity

High precision and speed: Label printing is an essential part of modern working processes. The industrial printers of the PM45 series by Honeywell print barcodes, text and images. Because of a print registration of up to +/- 0.5 mm, the printers provide an excellent solution for small labels, which are used, for example, in the pharmaceutical or electronic industries. Maximal print resolution is 600 dpi. Maximal print speed is 14 ips or 350 mm per second (at 203 dpi).

Optimal flexibility: The PM45 and PM45c desktop printers can handle a broad range of media, such as roll-fed and fan-fold labels with gap, notch and black mark as well as continuous media and tags. This makes the industrial printer series a good choice for multiple sectors. The three models of the PM45 series consist of the basic PM45 model, the compact PM45c and the PM45c with mega door for easy access. Maximal print width is 108 mm (at 203 dpi), maximal print length is 4.8 m (at 203 dpi). Application areas are, for instance, the pharmaceutical industry, manufacturing, food and beverage, distribution centers or warehouses.

Uncomplicated integration: For flexible connectivity, the PM45 series’ printers offer multiple ports: Ethernet 10/100/1000, USB 2.0 Host, USB 2.0 Device, RS-232 and optionally parallel connectivity, an industrial and an applicator interface as well as RFID. In order to integrate the printers into automation processes (M2M) and IoT networks, the industry printers are equipped with WWAN connectivity (4G). Additionally, they provide WLAN and Bluetooth interfaces. The three printer versions of the PM45 series by Honeywell can be used as stand-alone devices without a host computer. An MDM tool is included. However, the PM45 printers also support SOTI and PrintSet MC management solutions. Printer command languages are FP, DP, IPL, ZPL-II, DPL, PDF, C#.

Easy use: Because of the icon-based full-touch user interface, the printers of the PM45 series can be operated intuitively. Remote diagnostics tools enable fast troubleshooting to prevent downtime.

Made for high-volume printing and industrial environments: The all-metal print mechanism is made for large-quantity label printing and a long life. Printhead and platen roller can be easily replaced without tools.
