NEWLAND CACHALOT N7 PRO: Customizable Handheld for Challenging Environments
The N7 Cachalot Pro handheld computer is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. It is available with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage. In addition, there is a Wi-Fi-only version available with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB storage. An SD/TF card slot allows storage expansion by up to 128 GB. The terminal runs the Android 10 operating system.
The mobile computer Newland N7 Cachalot Pro is available with three keypad options: 29, 38 or 47 keys. Additionally, it is equipped with a 4-inch touchscreen. Because of its ergonomic form factor, the N7 Cachalot Pro it is convenient to use. There are scan keys on both sides of the device.
For efficient barcode capture, the N7 Cachalot Pro is equipped with a scan engine which can be chosen according to requirements: a standard-range imager for close ranges or a mid-range imager for longer distances. With Newland’s Acuscan technology, 1D and 2D barcodes can be accurately selected and captured from a pick list.
The N7 Cachalot Pro provides Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC and 4G (optional). It is equipped with a 13-megapixel camera.
The PDT Newland N7 Cachalot Pro is made for challenging environments. It is resistant to drops from a height of 1.8 m and sealed against the ingress of dust and water in accordance with protection class IP65. The terminal can be used within a temperature range from -20 °C to +55 °C.
The data terminal N7 Cachalot Pro is equipped with a powerful battery. The battery is user-replaceable and can be changed while the device is running (hot swap). By connecting up to four charging stations, a flexible multi-charging station can be created.
