TSC Alpha-2R: Small high-speed Label Printer
The durable, compact receipt printer fits in your pocket and yet there is a lot of functionality in the small device. A fast processor (32bit RISC) with high storage capacity (64 MB SD RAM, 128 MB Flash Memory) ensures smooth operation. An intelligent algorithm automatically adjusts the printing speed and pressure settings to the layout and heat development of the device. The TSC Alpha-2R delivers print speeds up to 100mm (4″)/second.
Since the handy receipt printer can accommodate paper rolls with the largest media capacity available on the market for 2″ printers (width: 58 mm, diameter: 50 mm), the Alpha-2R is particularly economical and practical, since the media change is reduced to a minimum.
The TSC Alpha-2R is equipped with numerous interfaces, such as USB 2.0, RS-232, NFC and either Bluetooth 4.0 or Bluetooth 4.2 + MFi or WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n. This makes it easy to connect to different devices, such as a smartphone or tablet etc.
Due to the particularly stable construction, the printer is ideal for on the way and the IP42 sealing protects the ticket printer from dust and dripping water (optional IP54 with protective cover).
Ease of use is another important argument in favor of TSC’s Alpha-2R, which only requires 3 buttons (on / off, feed, cover open). With one battery charge, the receipt printer can be used for up to 17 hours.
