To boost productivity in warehousing and improve inventory efficiency, most products are equipped with RFID tags. They enable accurate identification and localization of tagged articles. With the UHF RFID reader RP100 by Unitech it is possible to capture more data in less time. Capture up to 600 tags per second and send the data to designated apps on the mobile terminal. The ergonomic gun grip allows a reading range of up to 5 m.
As standard, the RFID reading device Unitech RP100 comes with a circular antenna. If required, a directive antenna is also available as option, to enable longer reading distances. For Europe, the frequency range covers 865 MHz to 868 MHz.
The user-friendliness of the Unitech RP100 UHF RFID reader is due to its ergonomic design and the convenient QUAD LOCK mount mechanism for the EA500PLUS handheld terminal. Several SDKs enable uncomplicated control of the RP100 via an application on the attached mobile terminal. After successful data capture, the user receives haptic, visual and audible feedback.
If required, the Unitech RP100 can additionally be equipped with a 1D and 2D barcode scanner. A powerful, rechargeable battery ensures reliable operation. The EA500PLUS and the RFID reader can be charged simultaneously either via cradle or USB.
The RP100 UHF RFID reader by Unitech is particularly robust, ideal for the use in busy warehousing environments. It survives drops from a height of 150 cm onto a steel plate. The device is sealed against the ingress of dust and water complying with protection class IP65. Operation temperature range reaches from -20 °C to +60 °C.
