ZEBRA ZQ600 SERIES: Mobile Receipt and Label Printers
The printer series ZQ600 replaces the well-known Zebra QLn series. Accessories are backwards compatible. With the new ZQ600 series you can experience improved wireless connectivity with WiFi 802.11ac and 802.11r for fast roaming, as well as Bluetooth 4.1 Classic and BLE. The printers have a sleep-mode function to save energy but will wake up instantly and be ready when receiving a new print job. For convenient use, the Zebra ZQ600 series’ printers are equipped with a large color display. Well-defined icons enable straightforward navigation and the menu is customizable. In case of an error, for example if the casing is not closed properly, the display color will change and indicate a problem. The ZQ600 series label printers are easy to use and a worthy successor to the proven QLn series.
Zebra’s Link-OS operating system and the Print DNA suite guarantee uncomplicated integration and management of the Zebra ZQ600 series’ mobile printers. By means of MDM connectors, it is possible to integrate the printers into different device management systems, such as AirWatch, SOTI MobiControl and Avalanche (powered by Wavelink). Print DNA also provides productivity and development tools. PrintSecure ensures high security when it comes to connections, data and infrastructure. All printers can be managed from a central location, also enabling remote firmware upgrades (via Ethernet cradle) and remote trouble-shooting. Printhead diagnostics let the user know in time, when the printhead needs replacement. The Zebra ZQ600 series’ printers are compatible with Apple iOS, Android and Windows mobile.
The direct thermal printers of the ZQ600 series by Zebra are extremely durable. The over-molded, single-piece design ensures high resistance and protection against dust and water (IP43). The robust mobile devices survive multiple drops from a height of 1.52 m to concrete. These compact printers are made to last even when in constant use.
With the new portable printers ZQ610, ZQ620 and ZQ630, barcodes, text and graphics can be printed vertically or horizontally. The peel-and-present mode is ideal for smooth label printing. Media loading is perfectly simple, due to the clamshell design. When the user needs to work hands-free, the printers can be attached to the person with a belt clip.
