DATALOGIC GRYPHON GFE4490: Simple Integration
The Datalogic Gryphon GFE4490 OEM with its wide scan angle, is ideal for short-distance barcode capture. Even barcodes of poor quality can be read without a problem. The 4-dot aimer with a red cross in the center enables simple aiming and Datalogic’s patented “Green Spot” provides clear feedback after a barcode has been successfully read.
Omnidirectional, high-performance barcode reading is possible with the Datalogic Gryphon GFE4490 OEM engine. It reads 1D and 2D barcodes, stacked codes and composite codes. It also captures images or documents. The versatile barcode scanner is able to read codes off labels and off displays. Even very small barcodes (down to 4 mils) do not present a problem.
The Datalogic Gryphon GFE4490 scan engine offers high motion tolerance for accurate and fast barcode capture. The OEM either automatically recognizes barcodes or can be manually triggered using software commands or hardware input. The Datalogic Gryphon GFE4490 was designed for versatile use, for example in vending machines or ticket readers. The compact scan module can be integrated into all sorts of automated appliances. It is available either with serial or USB or with both ports.
