BARTEC AGILE X IS: Rugged Tablet Computer for Ex Areas Zone 0 and Zone 1
Workers who do maintenance work in the field or in industrial environments, need dependable equipment. Especially designed for hazardous areas, BARTEC offers the powerful Agile X IS tablet computer. It comes with a 1.6 GHz (turbo 2.56 GHz) Intel N3710 CPU with 8 GB DDR3L RAM and 128 GB uSSD memory. A MicroSD card can be used to extend memory capacity. The tablet PC runs Windows 10 IoT Enterprise.
The Agile X IS tablet by BARTEC has a touch screen with 700 nits brightness and is optimal for indoor as well as outdoor applications. The optically bonded Gorilla glass is highly durable and offers a brilliant image rendition. The screen remains sensitive to touch when it gets wet.
Multiple connectivity options provide high flexibility. The BARTEC Agile X IS comes with WLAN 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (with 2 antennas), Bluetooth Low Energy 4.1 class 1, GPS and an LTE module can be added as option. The robust tablet is equipped with 2 microphones and 2 speakers as well as a 2-megapixel front camera and a 5-megapixel rear camera. This enables video calls and photos can be taken for documentation reasons.
The BARTEC Agile X IS for explosion-risk areas comes with a USB 2.0 port. Via this USB port it is possible to directly access the BARTEC USB stick for Ex areas. An expansion port enables the connection of the HART add-on module for the transmission of data from and to HART-enabled devices. The Agile X IS has two programmable function keys. An HF/NFC RFID reader is integrated. If required, the BARTEC Agile X IS is also available with an integrated Zebra SE4500 1D/2D imager or an external device, for example the BARTEC BCS 3600ex-IS barcode reader for explosion-endangered areas can be connected.
The industry tablet Agile X IS by BARTEC is certified for EX areas Zones 0 and 1. It comes with an internal battery and an external battery can be added. The external battery can be hot-swapped in EX zone 1 while the computer is running. The well designed BARTEC solutions for EX areas enhance process efficiency by providing convenient usability and enabling real-time data access and transmission from and to any location.
Accessories: Docking station (with 4 USB 2.0, 1 RS-232, 1 Ethernet 10/100, 1 HDMI), external 7.4 V/4200 mAh battery (hot-swappable in Ex zones), MicroSD card 32 GB (can be changed in Ex zones), intrinsically safe USB stick 8 GB (can be changed in EX zones), HART add-on module (to configure, parameterize, read and measure HART devices in EX zones), various covers and carry systems etc.
