EPSON TM-T88V-DT: Receipt Printing in a Web Environment

The Epson TM-T88V-DT is the new and revised version of the Epson TM-T88V POS printer. It offers you an integrated hub function that allows you to connect devices such as scanners, customer displays or magnetic stripe readers. There are also 6 USB ports and a VGA port available to connect other devices. This allows control via the web – without drivers. You can use web-based applications such as Windows Embedded, POSReady and ePOS Device with this receipt printer. Because this POS printer does not have a driver, no PC or POS terminal is needed.

The included paper saving feature reduces paper usage, which is good for the environment. The small footprint makes the printer ideal for any workstation. Full resilience is also guaranteed: with a local storage backing up to a 16GB (optional 32GB) SSD hard drive and 4GB of RAM, you will not lose a file. The Intel Atom processor with up to 1.8 GHz ensures particularly fast print speeds of up to 300 mm per second.

The Epson TM-T88V-DT provides exclusive 180 dpi print quality and is equipped with Ethernet, 6 USB 2.0 Type A ports, a VGA port and, of course, a cash drawer port.
